The Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria has a limited offer of Transport Aids for Teams. If your Team wants to benefit from it, please send us email us to gregorio.toribio@rcngc.com so we can explain you the terms and conditions of the offer.
At this moment we offer our transport aid program until budget completion, lots of sailors and Teams have received our help.We should be very happy to know that you are among them.

TO COME FROM SPAIN – MAINLAND

From Spain to the Canary Islands there are 4 options or starting points:

  • From Barcelona with SUARDÍAZ
  • From Huelva with NAVIERA ARMAS
  • From Cadiz TRASMEDITERRÁNEA
  • From Seville with TRASMEDITERRÁNEA

The Canary Islands have a different European Economic Community tax system, therefore, the load must be declared to customs upon leaving the Iberian Peninsula and arriving at Gran Canaria. Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria will take care of customs formalities. To do this teams must submit the following information to gregorio.toribio@rcngc.com

  • Length and height of the trailer with boats loaded on it.
  • Trailer’s documents.
  • Sail numbers of the boats.
  • If you bring a car, we need technical specifications of the car: driving license, vehicle brand, registration certificate.
  • If you bring a rib we need: brand of the boat, brand of the engine and all technical specifications
  • If passenger is coming we need copy of his/her passport.

SCHEDULE

  1. If you come from Barcelona you have to book with Naviera Suardíaz.
    1. Note that, in this case, you can only send the trailer or car + trailer. Suardíaz ship does not take any passengers.
    2. Departure from Barcelona: FRIDAYS at 12,00pm
    3. You have to be in Barcelona with 2 days in advance at least for the necessary formalities.
    4. The RCNGC will take care of collecting the trailer or car + trailer from the port in Las Palmas and bring it to the Club.
    5. Departure from Gran Canaria is: MONDAYS

  1. If you come from Huelva you have to make reservations with Naviera Armas. The RCNGC has a discount of 20% therefore to get the discount the reservation must be made through the Club. To book you have to submit copies of the documentation of the vehicle, trailers and passport if a passenger is coming.
    1. Departure from Huelva: SATURDAYS at 12,00pm
    2. Departure from Gran Canaria: THURSDAYS
    3. Naviera Armas transports passengers. If any team wants to come on the ferry one seat is included in the price of the ticket. If someone wants to change the seat by cabin he would have to notify in advance and pay the difference.
    4. If you only send a trailer, you must be in the terminal of Naviera Armas at 08: 00am Saturday for shipment.
    5. If you bring car + trailer it can be left at the terminal in advance and staff from Armas will ship it.
    6. RCNGC will take care of collecting the trailer of car + trailer from the port in Las Palmas and bring it to our facilities.

  2. If you come from Cadiz you will have to make reservations with Trasmediterránea. (Take note as cargo rather than passengers)
    1. Departure from Cádiz: TUESDAY 05,00pm. You have to be in the port early Tuesday morning for shipment. 
    2. Departure from Gran Canaria: SATURDAY 02,00pm 
    3. The RCNGC will take care of collecting the trailer or car + trailer from the port in Las Palmas and bring it to our Club.
  3. If you come from Seville you have to book with Trasmediterránea. Departure from Seville is on TUESDAY and to return departure from Gran Canaria is on FRIDAY.
